A Wedding on an Alpaca farm

Sometimes you just know that a photo-shoot is going to be amazing. For me, it was the first moment that I drove down Mark and Sam’s country driveway near the Sunshine Coast. I had a bit of a photographer “moment “where the scenery just took my breath away. Did I mention that it was on their Alpaca farm? Wow! I’m starting the story of the day back to front because you need to see how amazing Alpacas are.

Mark and Sam were extremely lucky with the timing of the wedding being right in between some very rainy weather which greened up the farm perfectly. Me and my amazing second photographer arrived to the small and intimate gathering of friends and family and it wasn’t long before we borrowed the wedding rings in advance of the ceremony for a few shots.

Set amongst their pink and white bougainvilleas were hay bales for seating as the ceremony got under way.

Love was in the air and these guys were present in every moment together and it shone through every photo that we took.

There were sparks flying between these guys all day. The kind that put a smile on the face of everyone in the vicinity.

We were humbled to be invited to capture Mark and Sam’s beautiful wedding day for them. You’ve got to love rural Queensland for its picturesque wedding venues.
